YOUTH MINSTRY
Youth are vital to Hamilton's ministry. The following describes some of our most important programs for youth.
Nursery is available during the Sunday School hour and during morning worship.
Children age 3 and up can take part in fun, exciting Sunday School classes.
Hamilton has an active youth group called the “God Squad” that includes all youth ages sixth grade through seniors in high school. The group is currently being led by a group of parent volunteers and meets on Sunday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm, September through May. The youth have fun together, eat together, do mission projects together and learn how to be Christian disciples together. They go on two yearly retreats, one in the fall and one in the spring. They also take a life-changing mission trip every other year in the summer. All Hamilton members and their friends are welcome!!
Confirmation classes are held periodically for young adults. The participants are confirmed in their faith after a period of study with our pastors and church elders. Confirmation signifies comprehension of the basic philosophy of Christianity and what is expected as a practicing Presbyterian.
Our annual Vacation Bible School is held every summer during the first week of August. All children ages 4 through fifth grade are welcome.
The Celebration Choir for our teens, and Kidz Praiz for younger youth are important Hamilton music programs.
