George and his wife Obbie have been Directors of Music at Hamilton Church since 1964. George was a French teacher in the Baldwin-Whitehall and Upper St. Clair School Districts from 1961-1992. During that time, he and his wife directed numerous musical and dramatic presentations. Both George and Obbie have been inducted into the Upper St. Clair Hall of Fame. Their daughter, Diane, is the substitute Director of Music at Hamilton, and is the Vocal and Choral Teacher for the South Allegheny Junior and Senior High Schools.

The McClintocks have been leading groups of students and adults to European destinations since 1970. They are currently planning a two-week tour of France for the summer of 2005, "La France de Georges." They represent the American Council for International Studies in the Western Pennsylvania area, and help teachers in many school districts with their travel plans. Their "work" takes them to Europe several times a year, and their favorite destination is France (surprise!).

George also works as an Emergency Room Technician at St. Clair Memorial Hospital, where Obbie has done more than 2500 hours of volunteer work in the Surgical Family Waiting Area. In their spare time, they are Avon representatives.

During the McClintocks' time at Hamilton, the musical and dramatic program has grown to include ten singing, ringing and playing groups, as well as many musical and dramatic highlights, such as musical theatre reviews, presentations of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown; Godspell; and Scrooge, plays, pageants and holiday concerts. They joke about their "womb to tomb" ministry, but the program does include people from age 3 to the decade of the eighties!
